Kelly had decided the day before that she needed to start running in order to get in shape for the Race for the Cure she has committed to (For which she greatly needs your help!)You can support her in this 5K race for finding a cure for Breast Cancer here:
Anyways, while Kelly was going on her second training run, she started to get really into the music on her IPOD. Who could ignore the amazing riffs of Guns'n'Roses? The distracting song of "Welcome to the Jungle" had put Kelly off her guard so much that she was not longer paying attention to where she was going and she just made a few turns just to see what Richmond looked like at the end of the summer.
When Kelly started to get tired and decided it was time to jog home she looked around for landmarks. To her horror, she found none. She saw many beautiful statues and while buildings and everything around looked really nice. But Kelly then realized that she was in the Capitol and was unsure of how to get back. She decided to keep on jogging for a few minutes to get her bearings straight.
Blocks later Kelly came across some cobblestone streets. She realized that she was down in Schockoe Bottom. Which is fine, except that it is a good ways away from her dorm. Sore and exhausted, Kelly desperately tried to find the street she came from. When she found the street on which her dorm is located and decided to walk all the way home.
Tired and sore beyond belief, Kelly realized how unfortunate this incident was.
Please support Kelly in the Race for the Cure on October 18th!
